Just returned from an extensive driving trip with several hundred photos. The unit performed extremely well, enabling me to track all my wildflower and scenery shots without error. The biggest problem I found almost immediately is, you'd best turn off the camera between shots. This unit drains the camera battery very quickly. I was very glad about then because I remembered to bring an inverter unit so I could charge my batteries in the car. I made frequent use of it.
Customer Review: Fun toy for nikon camera
I bought this for my husband who is just getting into photography. He thinks it is a fun little gizmo to add to his camera and likes the gps location/time stamp that is added w/ the photo info as the new iPhoto software seems to make use of it.
